AVID Ink is a pioneer in Sublimation
Print Technology. Sublimation uses traditional
printing machinery in most untraditional
ways creating a marriage of image and
textile that allows fashion designers
to explore new territory. Rather than
weaving a design, with sublimation,
the desired color and image is printed
to paper using sublimation inks that
vaporize when heated and applied to
material, creating a precisely colored
panel that is typically cut and sewn.
The benefits are unusual fashion looks
that are popular with consumers. Sublimation
technology can be applied to any substrate
such as metals and ceramics as well
as textiles.
Professional Background:
CPA with KPMG experience leading to
CFO responsibilities with companies
ranging in size from publicly traded
to start-up. Have taken leading roles
in M&A, Venture Capital, Private
Placements, Recapitalizations, SEC Reporting,
contracts and negotiations. Presently
heavily involved in Operations as President
and part owner of a fast growing, licensed
wear, surf and fashion garment designer,
printer and manufacturer approximately
$10MM in annual revenue.
